There are many ways to be connected to our church and use your God given gifts for His service.  Below are just a few examples and we encourage you to search for you place in God's Story at CSMBC.

The Scripture is clear that we cannot simply listen to the Word of God, but it compels us to be active.  Be The Church is a ministry that puts actions to our faith.  Once a month we use our evening service as an opportunity to get outside the walls of the church and minister to shut-ins, visit our guests, visit the hospital, minister to the broken and hurting and be a servant where ever we can serve.
Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry stands in the gap for our Faith Family, ministries, community and world.  They meet the second Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. to pray for the needs of our church.  In addition the prayer ministry also shares prayer needs to our Faith Family so that we all can be prayer warriors and bear each others burdens when asked to do so.
Each member of our Faith Family is ministered to by one of our Deacons. Our servant leaders stay in contact with the families that are in their ministry, they minister to their families, pray for them, and encourage them in their faith life.
We have a thriving ministry to special needs adults.  The ministry meets on Sundays from 4:30-5:30 P.M. for Bible study.
As members of our faith family become unable to join us for worship and other church activities we want to make sure we can continue to minister to them and meet their needs.  We have visitation teams who visit our shut-ins each week to love on them and keep them informed with what God is doing at CSMBC.
Jesus was clear in His command to go to all the world sharing the Good News of the Gospel.  We have two ministries that are dedicated to fulfilling the commandment to go in several ways.  Our WOM or Women on Mission take on local projects and causes to meet various needs as well keep our church focused on supporting local and international missionaries through prayer and financial means.  We also have a new missions ministry for men called BMEN.  This ministry gives men the opportunity to use their skills and experiences to meet needs around the community and to join together with like minded men in fellowship.
Our senior adult ministry is called Jetsetters, and they Jetset around the region sharing in fellowship, enjoying meals and traveling to places of interest.  They meet once a month and have a great time sharing life together.
Our children's ministry consists of Sunday School, Children's Church and Nursery.  Our Sunday School class starts at 9:30 A.M. in our Educational Building.  Come out and join us and a member of our greater staff will be happy to help you find your class, restrooms and explain our services to you.  In addition we have a nursery beginning at 9:30 A.M. for Sunday School and continues through our Worship Service which begins at 10:30 A.M.  During the Worship Service we have a special message just for the children and then they go to the Educational Building for Children's Church and snack time.
Kingdom Builders is for ages 3 years old to 5th grade.  This ministry is designed to give the children an action packed experience with Bible teaching, games, music and snacks.  Kingdom Builders is a part of our Wednesday Ministry experience and takes place in our Educational Building from 6:30-7:30 P.M.
At CSMBC we feel every age group should have the opportunity to come face to face with Jesus Christ and enter into a ministry where they can grow in their faith, find a place of service and ministry and learn to share their faith with their peers.  Our Youth Ministry is just that place for the middle and high school students of our community.  Our Youth Ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 P.M. Please come out and meet our Youth Leader Heath Shirley.
If you are a young adult (18-35) searching for answers about faith in Christ, true and authentic worship, a community of believers that is like you, Bible studies where the hard questions are asked and a place to authentically live out your life for Jesus then run to the Strong Tower. Proverbs 18:10 says God is our Strong Tower and the righteous can run to Him.  Our Young Adult Ministry strives to be the place where young adults can run into the arms of God and then be equipped to be used by Him.  If you want to know more about our ministry click on the Strong Tower logo to the left.
A large part of our mission for the church and our vision for each member is to become a true disciple of Jesus Christ.  We teach that we must grow in our knowledge and understanding of our Savior and we provide several opportunities that are designed around this concept.  We provide two Bible Studies on Wednesday to serve our congregation.  Our first service begins at 11:00 A.M. and we follow up at 6:30 P.M. to serve those who work or have demanding daily schedules.  We pray you will make one of these times a priority in your life to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Our Sunday School Ministry is an arm of our discipleship ministry and we strongly encourage everyone to become a part of a Sunday School Class.  In Sunday School you will receive strong Biblical instruction but you will also meet and make new friends that will encourage you in your faith walk.  If you don't have a class please call our church office and we will help you get enrolled in one immediately.  Or simply join us on Sunday's at 9:30 A.M. and one of our greeters will help you find your place in this ministry.
One of the ways our church reaches out is by showing the love of Christ to the parents and children who are a part of Shepherds Flock Childcare.  We do our best to minister to the children and families through prayer, service projects and by providing worry free quality care for the children.
